“Straight wager” definition

A Straight wager is a single wager on a singular outcome. A straight bet can be on the winner of a game or match. A straight bet can also be made on the total number of points scored, over or under a specific number.

A straight bet or Straight wager is a type of wager in which a bettor bets on a single game that carries a point spread, prop,  future, a total or a moneyline.

To win a straight bet, is to correctly wager on the team that covers the spread, or if the two teams cover the over or under.
