“Moneyline” wager definition
A Moneyline wager is a bet on the team you think will win the game outright.
Example:
Knicks -280 Celtics +240
- If you wager on Knicks -280, you lay $280 to win $100.
- If you wager on Celtics +240, you lay $100 to win $240.
- The line values are determined based on the point spread. When you bet moneylines, you bet on a team to win the game outright.
